Abstract:
This study presents a review and discussion of the concept and measurement of community capacity. Conceptual aspects of community capacity and its measurement are reviewed based on existing literature. This study proposed a conceptual framework of measuring community capacity for conserving natural resources in ecotourist destinations. In addition, the findings of this study provide an inclusive list of practical dimensions. The paper hopes to help researchers appraise and build community capacity construct for further development in ecotourist destinations.
