Technological innovations: artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, robotics, automation, Internet of Things (IoT), smart hospitality and tourism ecosystems, virtual/augmented reality, and the Metaverse.
Sustainability and regeneration: regenerative tourism, green innovation, and sustainable gastronomy.
Societal and cultural dimensions: social innovation in community-based tourism, Indigenous knowledge and practices, cultural heritage innovation, accessibility, and inclusion.
Through the publication of double-blind peer-reviewed articles, APJIHT offers value to those researching and practising innovative approaches in hospitality and tourism. By spotlighting scholarship that bridges theory and practice, the journal supports the achievement of global sustainable development goals and contributes to shaping resilient, creative, and impactful futures for the industry.
