Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of management communication, post mergers and acquisitions, on turnover intention through the mediating role of job satisfaction and the moderating role of emotional intelligence. The study employed a time-lagged research design to collect data from employees working in organisations that have undergone mergers and acquisitions in the recent past in Pakistan. Data was analysed using SMART PLS (v3) to estimate the measurement model and the structural model. Findings reveal that management communication negatively correlates with turnover intention. In addition, job satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between management communication and turnover intention.
